Our program focuses and builds on language, math, science, and social skills in a natural sequence that promotes learning, and is suited to your child's unique needs. Your little one will explore the world through play, movement, and other outlets that will teach key skills needed for future success in learning.

Our program offers enriching learning opportunities in a fun environment for school-age children. This includes, before-school and after-school care (including homework help), part time/emergency care, school holidays/closings, and summer care for children up to age 12. While TCA does not provide transportation, the local elementary and middle school picks up and drops off near our center.
School Readiness Services, also known as Subsidized Childcare, is available in Clay, Nassau, Baker, Bradford, Putnam and St. Johns counties through Episcopal Children’s Services. Families must qualify for these services. Due to the high volume of families in need, it is important that you apply as soon as possible if you wish to receive these services.

Daily schedules
Children need a simple routine to follow. This helps them learn and anticipate what comes next. This is subject to change from day to day depending on the children’s interest and of course the weather. Our schedules consist of child-directed learning opportunities, independent small-group activities, teacher led small-group activities, outdoor play and activities, meals /snacks and rest time.

11:45 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Hand washing/Prepare for Lunch
12:00 p.m. – 12:45 p.m. Lunch
12:45 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. Clean up/Bathroom/Transition to rest time/VPK Dismissal
1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. Rest/Quiet Time
3:00 p.m. — 3:15 p.m. Wake up/Bathroom
